Among the many faculty members at Regina Cleri Seminary, Fr. Bob Gielow stood out as a figure of guidance, leadership, and mentorship. He was more than just a teacher—he was someone students turned to for wisdom, encouragement, and direction. For me personally, his impact extended beyond the classroom. I had a deep love for sports, and Fr. Gielow played a key role in shaping that passion as our varsity basketball coach. He led with dedication, instilled discipline, and taught us the value of teamwork and perseverance.

Even today, Fr. Gielow continues to share his wisdom and insight. He publishes a blog called Monday Morning Coffee Break with Fr. Bob Gielow, where he offers reflections and guidance that are much needed in today’s world. If you have a moment, I encourage you to check it out—I’ve included the link below. His words remind us that the lessons we learned at Regina Cleri Seminary still hold true, and it’s inspiring to see such meaningful work continue from a respected member of our faculty.

Fr. Gielow’s influence never faded, and his commitment to guiding others remains as strong as ever. It’s a testament to the lasting impact of a great mentor and coach, and I’m grateful to have been one of the many students who benefited from his leadership.
